We bought this as a christening present for our goddaughter and I have to say I was genuinely impressed by the quality of it. The cover feels sturdy, not flimsy like a lot of these small gift books can be, and the prayers inside are worded in a way that even a very young child could start to memorize over time. My sister (the mom) actually teared up a little reading through it before the ceremony, which I wasn't expecting honestly. We've already told a few other people in our family group chat to check it out for upcoming baptisms. What really stood out to me though was how the pages are laid out - there's enough white space around the text that it doesn't feel cluttered or overwhelming for a small kid, and the illustrations complement the words instead of distracting from them, which is something I've noticed a lot of similar books get wrong. The binding also seems like it can handle a fair amount of wear and tear, which matters a lot when you're buying something for a toddler who is going to be flipping through pages with sticky hands more often than not. On top of all that, the price felt fair for what you actually get, especially compared to some of the other options we looked at before deciding on this one. Would 100% buy again, and honestly I'm already planning on getting one for my own daughter's christening later this year since I liked it so much.
